truID was invited to participate in the event organized by SEE Pakistan on the 18th of August, 2022, at Expo Center, Lahore. The event showcased around 100 vibrant startups from all over the country, bringing forth a soft and progressive image of Pakistan. truID was represented by its CEO, Dr. Abid Rafique, and its core team member, Mr. Abdullah Cheema. With its disruptive technology in the remote identity verification landscape of Pakistan, truID remained the center of attention for judges, media personnel, investors, financial service providers, government officials, and the general public at large. Mr. Asher Faisel Khan, CEO of Commtel and a seasoned financial services professional and senior jury member, appreciated the accuracy and speed with which truID verified the identity of individuals during our live demonstrations. He will be assisting truID in establishing a presence in the financial services industry, including commercial banks and microfinance fintechs. truID also had fruitful discussions with Mr. SM Khurram, CEO of Programmers Force, the Platinum Sponsor of SEE Pakistan. He not only showed great interest in truID's technology but also expressed a desire to follow up for investment and strategic partnership. truID was also approached by government officials with an intent to introduce truID to E-Khidmat centers in Pakistan, facilitating people with different services through instant verification. In addition, Mr. Khurram Zafar, an investment partner at 47 Ventures Ltd., visited our stall. He has always been a great admirer of truID's technology and has opened several doors for collaboration with his portfolio companies.
